At first glance, Active Line is just a small utility much like the Windows command line, as it allows you to run any system command or program, and open any web page just by typing the URL.

But these actions are not what make Active Line special, as it also has the functions of a calculator, and you can write mathematical expressions of all kinds and it will offer the solution.

The mathematical expressions you type in Active Line may reference pre-defined functions, for example: 230 +15 * (23-14) + sqrt (16).
